Greetings From New Orleans ,
I have just spoken with one of the two Pilots that will be Piloting the Str. Delta Queen to Chattanouga and he now informs me that the new departure date for the Str. Delta Queen is now February 4th. if everything falls in place . This is the latest information that has been made available to me and time will tell if this departure date is meet .

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports today, 21 January 2009, that government officials in Northern Kentucky have sent a letter to Ambassadors International with an offer to bring the DELTA QUEEN to Covington. I just hope that she gets out of New Orleans before the "Levee Lifters" figure out how to get the pillow brasses....OK, so I exagerated a bit, but there is plenty of other brass that can be rather easily obtained.

If the DQ is going through Mobile bay let me know the date and I will try to get some pictures for .org. I will be in Gulf Shores for the next month.
