HELLO ALL;;
Just a update on the DQ ,,, from the stern line telegraph,,...
She left Madison,IN about 3:00 pm down bound for Louisville,, and should arrive in Louisville between 7:30 or 8:00 pm tonight,, 10-23-08..
We are on are way to Louisville and on the guest list, so Ill try to post from the DQ if the wireless is working,,!!

The DQ is here and tied up aft of the BELLE. The boat was featured on the morning news. It is POURING rain in Looey-ville and there are traffic accidents and messes galore. So, if you go down to the waterfront today, be careful and don't forget your umbrella! Also, it ain't exactly a heat wave out there! I'm wearing my DQ "attire" in honor of the day and will be heading down to the wharf this afternoon. Hope to see you there!

Latest News at Louisville
The Farewell Celebration is coming indoors aboard the BELLE OF LOUISVILLE at 4:00pm today. Due to the weather the outdoor planned celebration was kinda eclipsed. At the moment it is in the upper 50's and falling and about as wet as the deep end of a pond.
Lets all hope the skies dry out a little before 4pm!
Either way, there will be a calliope concert at 4:30-5:00pm aboard the DELTA QUEEN. If it continues to stay as dark as it is now, it might have the Aurora Effect! Ooooooohhhh.....Ahhhhhhhhh!
