Greetings From New Orleans ,
Early this morning I was on the phone with a few of my friends that are on the DQ , which is in Louisville today , and they both tell me that the Queen's , Guilded Antlers have been now removed from the boat and in all likelyhood will be given, for safe keeping to the Str. Belle of Louisville . I would imagine that the " Belle " would and should be the rightfull recepient of the Antlers but its just another reminder of the DQ's uncertain future . What a shame ! Its also my understanding that there will also be a " Farewell Ceremony " for the Str. Delta Queen as she makes her final departure from Louisville !
Smooth Sailing !

Very Sad
Very grim news. The thought of the antlers being removed and given away brings the scope of the entire nastly situation clearly into focus. I do not recall things being this dark even the last time around. It's all too hard to stomach... like watching a loved-one dying. How could this possibly be happening again to the DELTA QUEEN? Let's pray that history repeats itself and the QUEEN gets another last minute reprieve.
