Could someone please tell me what the Dinner dining times are on the American Queen? Also, do the men need to wear a suit or jacket at any of the Dinners.
Marlene,
A FEW do wear jackets, but mostly it's casual, except for the Captain's Dinner. Steamboatin' is a bit casual, especially when the heat and humidity are high! As to times, someone else will have to tell you, PROBABLY 6:00 & 7:15 "ish."
Wish I were aboard!

Marlene and David,
David, the DQ has overlapsing dinner seatings and therefore it´s the dinner time you mentioned. And there´s only one show.
On the AQ/MQ dinner times do not overlapse. It´s app. 5:15 pm for early seating and 7:45 pm for main seating (which can last up to 10 pm). There were usually two shows, one for each seating.
No jackets required, nice slacks and polos will do it for men.

Dinner times on AQ
Marlene, dinner is at 5:15 and 7:45. Jackets are not necessary, but it is cold in the dining room and lots of us wore sweaters or light jackets.
Thank you all for answering my questions. My husband will be glad he does not have to take a suit. I knew what the dining times were when Delaware North owned the boats but I had heard that Majestic America had changed the times on the American Queen.
Thanks again.
