I just received a packet of advertising cards for the annual GREAT RIVERS TOWBOAT FESTIVAL that takes place each year at Grafton, Illinois during the fourth weekend of June. There are towboat tours (river conditions permitting) music, food, exhibits of radio controlled boat models, etc. Fun for the whole family and admission is free!

My wife and i are planning on going to this. Due to work schedule we are probably going on the Sunday of this event! Hope the river cooperates as the Illinois is running high at the moment.
