Today is a great day on the rivers--the birthday of a great pilot, Captain Archbold Finley Fraser. I don't know that he even reads this forum, but he deserves all the accolades he can collect. A good day to you, sir, and all the whistle salutes you can collect!

This is worth it as Finley is more important,....ahh don't go there, Bruno...

Happy birthday my friend, you keeping Mooing those cows...whistle salutes? damn, do you know how many times you've raised the hair on the back of my neck, if only I could give you a whistle salute, back...

Kudos, sir, as it comes down to that brass handled pull chain, you rock...!

Congratulations on your birthday, Findley - hope you had a wonderful day! Can't begin to thank you enough for all the whistle-blowing your gave us over the years, but especially last year. You certainly became very proficient at blowing that whistle. Also, pretty good at ringing the bell - especially when unsuspecting people were posing for pictures around it! Thanks for the memories...............

Amen to that!! One long and two short for Capt. Finley. Many times did he let me take the levers on the Natchez and run the route, watchin over my shoulder of course. Zigzaggin through freighters in the Anchorage was definitely the best part of that experience. One time, he (through me) got us so close to one ship that you could have spit and hit someone on the opposite deck. Good times 🙂 Happy Birthday Capt.!!
