I thought I'd make a separate thread for Hannibal for those not interested in the Midwest Buffs...
It is a beautiful early morning here in Mark Twain Land, but the afternoon promises 90 degrees, so I ventured out shortly after sunrise.
The place to stay is the Best Western on the River, which is the only hotel right downtown. The billboard is just a block away, at the foot of the approach to the old highway bridge. This approach has been turned into a nice parkway and viewing point. The pix of the back of the Tom and Huck statue were taken from about halfway up the walkway.
well, I may be up early, but the attachment system isn't. I'll try posting the pix later.... Fehler 500
