yesterday looking for a book on the Delta Queen....I even found a better find...A vidio tape of "The Unsinkable Delta Queen" I'm sure all of you repeater cruisers have seen it....but this first timer was just mesberised by the film. What a great documentary...Its now even made me more excited about my upcoming cruise.

Jim Herron made some great videos and an absolute must is "Tested by Time to Become an American Legend" by Jerry Sutphin. Here´s a nice interview with Jerry

Of course another way to see it, but a little more expensive, is to cruise with us on the Mississippi Queen. We show it in the theater the first night of every cruise.
You'll have to wait awhile but .....

Thanks for the plug, Carmen. Incidentally, I shot more video of our DQ cruise last September from St.Louis to Cincinnati but I'm not sure I'll produce a DVD from it. We had a spectacular lightening show on the trip that made for some exciting footage.
Also, I just got a new HD camera so with the price deals now being offered by MAL, we might just go on another AQ cruise this year. I'd like to cover Cincy to Pittsburgh if possible. Anything shot with it will be in wide screen format.
