I no longer have a subscription to the WWJ at home because I'm not there half the time and we get it on the boat. So, today I was catching up on what I've missed for the past month and found two interesting items in the WWJ from August 9, 2010.
1. John W. Gilbert died on July 26, 2010. John Gilbert was the President of John W. Gilbert Associates, Inc., the architectural firm that designed the Diamond, Emerald and Golden Ladies.
2. There is an ad from Pinnacle Entertainment for "Proposals for the DISPOSAL of the 'Admiral' casino vessel". The proposals were due by August 18, 2010. Does anyone know if a proposal was accepted and what they propose to do with the boat?
I guess I should renew my subscription so I won't be so far out of the loop...
John
yeah but on down it says, "The Admiral will be sold based on the completed vendor proposals which will be due August 18,2010"
I just assumed that was their way of saying it's for sale. Although considering what I have learned here about the shape the hull is in, disposal might be the right wording
