Thanks for your posting and your interest ! Yes , you may say it was just another " Day At The Office " , especially on the Mississippi River between New Orleans and Baton Rouge . The short story on this incident was that the ship with the bent deck and multiple holes in it was actually anchored in the Lower Kenner Bend Anchorage and then the black hull ship was coming down the river , lost engines , deployed her port anchor , ripped out her port anchor , then slammed bow first into the ship that was anchored all in broad daylight ! As the man says , " Stuff Happens " !!
