If everything goes as scheduled, the MISSISSIPPI QUEEN will arrive in Davenport early Monday morning and depart at 1 PM. This puts her on the L&D15 webcam about 1:15... time to get those cookies baked...

LIVE FROM THE LEVEE: Judy just called my office to report that the MQ arrived in Davenport at 8 AM and is scheduled to leave at 1 PM. As usual, Miss Patsch is generously running "ambulance service" and other errands for MQ crew and passengers. And, of course, containers of "steamboat chocolate chip cookies" are being distributed!

The MQ is currently approaching lock 15. So get on the webcam site and have a look!

Although the MQ arrived at 8, her published arrival time(she usually gets in at 5 or so), she left promptly at 1 and appeared on the webcam about 1:15. I went up to the ranger in the visitors center and asked that they manuever the camera upriver to show the Queen, hope they did. It was a beautiful early fall day with temps in the low 70s, a great day to be hanging around a steamboat! Now to get ready for the return of the Saints to the Superdome tonight....

They did manuever camera 2! We were watching cam 1 as she approached the wall and were pleasantly surprised when we noticed cam 2 was giving us a different view. It was next best thing to being there.
