Greetings From New Orleans ,
It has recently come to my attention from a good friend that is a crew member on the Str. Delta Queen , that there is yet another popular and prevailing rumor as to the future of the Delta Queen . According to my friend on the boat there is an undisclosed and serious person of interest that has plans to purchase the Delta Queen and turn it into a floating hotel in the Chattanouga , Tenn. area . Of course it remains to be seen if this comes to past but for better or worse , this is whats being circulated on board the Delta Queen . Time will tell , of course and its also believed that he company has no plans to renovate the Str. Mississippi Queen and sell it as well . Food for thought .

Ted,
At this point all we are hearing is rumors. Perhaps some day in the future we will look back at this and laugh....because right now, it is just a sad state of affairs.
I feel certain we will soon know something concrete. Remember there have been many times in history it looked as bleak as it does now. And each and every time something wonderful came out of nowhere and changed the percieved future...kinda like a Guardian Angel.
Lets just keep our attitudes positive and keep up the fight to Save the DELTA QUEEN!
