The S & D website has an excellent announcement of the Annual meeting at Marietta. President Sutphin has done a superb job of detailing out the agenda, speaker and IMPORTANT CHANGES at the Lafayette Hotel. If your an S & D member or an interested party be sure to take a look. Hey Capt Bill,
Thanks for posting the info on the big meeting in September. We are planning to be "on deck" this year for all the festivities. Will probably bring the new addition along as well.
Do you know if the Snyder will still be in Marietta then? Thought it would be appropriate for that to be Lily's (Named for the lighthouse tender) first time aboard a steamboat, since my Mom took me on there while she was still about 7 months pregnant in 1975. Somehow I got a whiff of steam and the rest is history.
We'll look forward to seeing you, Darlene, and the rest of the S and D gang there!

Be sure to check out the S & D website. Saturday night dinner tickets must be purchased from the Lafayette Hotel by September 10th - in prior years, we just bought them when we got there. You either order them by phone and pay by credit card, or mail your check to the hotel. All the details are on the S & D website..........................
