While she may not be a river steamboat, she is 1 of only 5 stern-paddling steamboats operating in the country today. The Steamboat MINNE HA HA turns 42 today, and I personally hope that she's around for at least 42 more years to come. It's also official that she will be getting a new voice next year thanks to that talents of one Mr. Dave Morecraft and his son Zach. We're very excited about the future of our vessel, and we welcome everyone on here to come and enjoy a cruise aboard her. Keep up steam, ol' girl!

Here's to the MINNE!
A Happy Birthday whistle salute to the MINNE --- and to a fine young man (who also celebrates a birthday in a few days!) whose expertise will see the MINNE into future decades!
Happy birthday to the NATCHEZ' older sister
Lake George/N.O. Steamboat certainly hit a couple of home runs in a short period of time - the MINNE is just 6 years older than the NATCHEZ. Neither gal is showing her age either. We talk about the Greenes, the Leyhes, the Streckfi, and we need to add the Dows to that revered family list which has kept steamboating alive. And they are doing it on a lake and a river, over a thousand miles apart. This first week of August has to have provided more steamboatmen than most any other seven days: Doc Hawley, Bobby Heyn, Eddie Bayard are celebrants on the 1st; Matt is on the 3rd; Capt. Wagner on the 4th; and Matt's grandfather Wilbur on the 5th. Did I leave anyone out?
Happy Birthday, Minne Ha Ha!!
It´s been a great pleasure to take a ride on you last year!!
