Tues. Aug. 5 - The AMERICAN QUEEN and her 123 passengers are rolling upriver well ahead of schedule, despite an hour delay at 16. So if you want to catch her on the L&D 15 webcam, she should be approaching from downstream(the left) about 2:30 - unless the double Loree Eckstein gets there first.

Yeah, and you can watch on your top-secret private camera too!!!! Looks like there's no delay. I'm just waiting for the cookies to cool down and then I'm outta here....

The AQ finished locking through 15 at 3 PM. I hope the ranger aimed the camera on her through the procedure. I couldn't see, as I was out on the lockwall by a lamppost(as I am wont to do, B. Judd!) On to Tschiggfrieland...

The AQ arrived in the Dubuque area yesterday, Aug. 6, in the early hours and held up below town to make a landing around 8:00. She landed just below the TWILIGHT at River's edge Plaza. A beautiful day here yesterday, ideal for being on the river. AQ departed at 5:00 p.m., and is really moving on up the creek! She should be on the La Crosse webcam sometime after 9:00 or 9:30 this morning, I would guess.

The AQ has locked through lock 8 at 7:38 am. So check the La Crosse webcam later this day. Right now I can still see the JBS at the riverfront.
