OK, I had to start a new thread, as I have lived too far away to have run off on a steamboat as a young chil' -- though if I had, I probably would have! So, I don't feel qualified to join in on the "Huck Finns" and maybe there's some others like me out there, so here goes:
You Might be a FRN if:
Before you leave the parking lot, you roll down all your windows and play the opening number on the BOL's Calliope CD--the Departure Whistle at full volume (and swear you're gonna get an "under the hood" speaker someday).
You get "something in your eye" everytime you hear "The Delta Queen Waltz."

Dave,
Don't forget "ringing off the telegraph" on a car with an automatic tansmission! You know...running from PRNDL back LDNRP, and back again PRNDL and ending at P coming back...just to let the Chief know you have her all fast and are through with engines!
