As the BECKY THATCHER (former Str. MISSISSIPPI) prepares to weigh anchor and depart Marietta, her home since 1975, area residents have mixed emotions about the old steamboat leaving. As usual, the bloggers, who really couldn't care less about history but obviously get a kick out of seeing their sarcastic comments in print, are having a field day with their remarks, much of it inane and made by those with an IQ probably less than their shirt size!
