Today in History notes the death of Capt. Chris Greene in 1944. Here are a couple of pictures of him.
1 - Capt. Chris is in the middle of the group, on his namesake boat, the CHRIS GREENE II. Can anyone supply the IDs of the other people?
2 - Capt. Chris on the Greene Line wharfboat.

from left to right, ???, Stogie White (?), LaRie (Mrs. Chris) Greene, Chris Greene, ???, Tom Greene.
The fellow between Chris and Tom looks familiar, but I cannot come up with a name to go with the face.
