I just got off the phone with Captain Hawley. He informed me that he had fallen;and was taken to the hospital. They determined his left hip was broken. At the hospital surgery was needed to set it and add a pin. Doc then went to a rehab facility for a few days; and has been home since saturday. Doc's address is 639 Barracks Street, New Orleans, La 70116

*RE: Doc Hawley's broken hip*
Thanks Vic for posting here RE: Capt. Doc Hawley's broken hip. Also got wind of it just earlier here and dashed out to get a card along with a letter and other boat goodies for him to read in his recuperation. Things happen when we least expect it. One moment up and busy; next moment BANG! and you're down. CHEERS!
