The president of the Historic Riverboat Preservation Association informed me that they have scheduled a meeting for this week with the current land owner, JB Marine, and St. Louis County. They will be discussing what needs to happen to move the Goldenrod out of Kampsville and to JB Marine in St. Louis. If the Goldenrod is moved to JB Marine it will have around the clock security and maintenance crews to take care of her until funding is provided to completely restore her. This will be great! The Land owners seem interested in letting the Goldenrod go just to see her restored! I will let everyone know what happens in the meeting!
