another lawsuit?
I don't know where you found this, but check to see if Ingram sued for docking fees in the canal. The man at the adjoining business said the MQ owner had asked to dock the boat at Ingram for a week or two, and when it became longer (like 10 months) Ingram supposedly charged $1000 a day, which no doubt wasn't paid.
*RE: 'MISSISSIPPI QUEEN Sued*
Hi, David, Judy & steamboating colleagues:
Thanks for your dual 'heads up' with the above link to the case now filed. Not a pretty situation to say the least but, then again, what could we expect? Bankruptcy cases, by their very nature, often come with related suits being filed. I only know what I read here as per the web links, in the media or court cases. These cases can turn nasty when litigants want their bills settled. At times it's like sharks picking, biting for a share on a dead or dying whale. "Grave dancers" is the legal/accounting term also. WOW! $1,000 a day for 10 months one hefty chunk of change. I can't believe what's happened in the last several years to the steamboat community. Same thing going on in other unrelated businesses and industries. Legal fees will no doubt aso be hefty. Keep us posted. Well, what do I know?

docking fees
Actually, it was $3000 a month when she first went to harvey canal spot which was only supposed to be for a few months. The owner eventually needed his space and at some point it was upped to $5000 per month.
