Just heard from New Orleans that the bell from the MISSISSIPPI QUEEN will soon be headed to Jeffersonville, where it will be installed on the grounds of the Howard Steamboat Museum. The bell has been safely stored in a warehouse awaiting transport to Jeffersonville.

This is GREAT news! We are all awaiting the arrival of the bell to Jeffersonville where it met it's first steamboat!
