Hi Folks,
My name is Dave Stevenson and I have just released a new DVD that features unique footage of North American steamboats and steamboat journeys from 1926 to 1978. The steamers included on this disc are the S.S. St. Lawrence of the Canada Steamship Lines, The Ste. Claire of the Bob-Lo Boats out of Detroit and the Delta Queen on the Mississippi. There is unique footage of all of these boats on the disc and there are also nice views of long-gone boats like the S.S. Eastern States (shot in color during her final season), the Sainte Genevieve on the Mississippi and a beautiful little side-wheeler called the Trois-Rivieres on the St. Lawrence in 1926. I grew up around steam and steamboats and hope to be able to offer more unique films and photos in the future. If you'd like to get full details and ordering info please see the description at LOOSER THAN LOOSE PUBLISHING Thanks for your time,
Best,
Dave Stevenson
