Just watched the taped version of the show featuring the move of the PREZ. There were quite a few videos and pictures of her in her earlier days which Jim Herron and I supplied - and got credit for in the end. It was a little melodramatic at times, like going through the lock - the guy is standing on deck looking at her scraping along the lock wall and saying what a close fit it was - neglecting to mention the 26 feet of space on the starboard side! And when they showed the 'last piece' being delivered, it was actually a replay of the first piece, the bow, being delivered. It was interesting, especially showing the hull being pulled up onto land and seeing the compartments therein, seeing the steam machinery being lifted off, the pilothouse trucked over, and so on. But so sad... The commentary was upbeat because the show was about the move, which was accomplished successfully. But they talked and gushed about the rebuilt product and what a great thing it was going to be for St. Elmo.... and we know what the state of that project is now, quite contradictory to their hopes and plans.
