For those buffs and buffettes who might be interested in having a nice art print of the late, great Str. MISSISSIPPI, later the BECKY THATCHER, there's a very limited edition (less than a dozen now remaining) print by the late artist Marjorie Schwartz, of Memphis, who also did nice renderings of the BELLE OF THE BENDS and J.M. WHITE.
Go to Ebay and type THE MISSISSIPPI - RIVERBOAT ART - MARJORIE SCHWARTZ into the search box. It's a BUY IT NOW option for $19.95. The print is approximately 21" x 17" with a generous border. The prints were earlier $35 and this is the last of them.
One of these framed prints, purchased in 1996 at a Mud Island gift shop, hangs in my bedroom. Now that the MISSISSIPPI / BECKY is but a memory, it means even more to have it!
