I drove through Cincinnati yesterday and noticed an old sidewheel dredge [or snagboat?] moored at the power plant at the I-75 bridge on the city side. Anyone know about her?

The sidewheel USACE/haunted steamboat WM. MITCHELL is what you saw. She and B.B.Riverboat's old wharfboat are tied off there below the Brent Spence Bridge.

If you go to the BBRiverboats website and follow the prompts to the Ohio River Radio Hour, hosted by Captain Alan Bernstein and his children, Captains Terry and Ben, you'll see a link to a video of that vessel crashing into a bridge. Pretty frightening! I am bad at getting links to work, but this is the link to the blog there where the video is posted: Ohio River Radio Hour
