Are there hooks on the doors of the rooms on the AQ as well?

I thought that I should move this to its own thread. Does anyone know if there are hooks already on the outside of the doors on the rooms of the AQ?

When she came out there were hooks to hold the outside stateroom doors open. They were shiney nickel plated affairs that matched the rest of the doors' hardware. Over time the plating wore off and the brass showed. Unfortunately, no one took the time to polish the brass. The last time I was on the AQ, before Katrina's fury, that's how things were, not very polished. I certainly doubt that they are any better with MAL.

It appears that there wouldn't be a place to hang a door sign like the one David used on the DQ

Bruce, the official purpose for those small brass hooks on the outside middle top of the stateroom doors on the DQ is for the purser to hang your final bill very early on the morning of your last day. "Frequent floaters" hang all kinds of very imaginative and very cool stuff from that hook to personalize and decorate their doors. David Dewey, love ya David, made me and Deb a door sign similar to his and Linda's, absolutely wonderful. And he is very right about it preventing the embarrassment of walking into the wrong stateroom.

Now I suspect the other two boats have similar hooks in similar places 'cause the pursers on the MQ and the AQ have to pass out the same final bills. But looking at our pictures from our MQ trip in 2000, there was no door hooks then. Maybe the purser slides the bill under the door...?

I think we need to ask the experts, as I'd like to hang our new door sign when we cruise the AQ in December. Paging Pat and Pat and "The Happy Ladies"...
