Have they heard about Franz's birthday in Rabbit Hash yet? I guess they haven't, otherwise the Shipyard will be down for another month with this one. Afterall there is only so much celebrating that can be crammed into August, and it's chalked full already!

It may interest you, Franz,
that the trite song, "Happy Birthday to You" was written here in Louisville, Kentucky, by Miss Patty Hill and her sister, Mildred, who were school teachers.
It originally was sung, "Good morning to you, Good morning to you, Good morning Miss Hill, Good morning to you." When I was in elementary school we started each day with it.

Thanks everyone for your kind words 🙂 My biggest wish for this day is seeing the Delta Queen under steam in 2009; I really, really want this to happen.
See you all in the next three weeks at Louisville, Rising Sun, Cincinnati, Dubuque ... on our vacation trip starting tomorrow.
I'll be checking my e-mail and will monitor the message board while we're on tour, but will probably will be slower than usual in replying.
