Just another year closer to Medicare!
Just when you caught up to me Dave, I surged ahead again! Funny I should see your posting just as CCH would be playing the 11:30 trip concert on the NATCHEZ. While that is an early pix you posted, its actually about 5 years AFTER I first heard his AVALON calliope concert. We are the old men and women of the river now...but we do keep rolling along. Time to eat some store bought cake before plopping down for 6 hours of TV football, no cookies today! (Has Keith ever missed wishing anyone a HB? What a memory!)

Thanks Dave! I've been hearing from LOTS of folks who are VERY pleased that you will be the new editor of the S&D REFLECTOR, so get ready to receive all kinds of "fan mail" when you get back to Dubuque!
Another great steamboat buff who ain't on line is Cincinnatian Larry Walker, who faithfully served as treasurer of S&D for MANY terms. Larry will observe his 93rd birthday on Tuesday and is still rolling along. I'm sure his many friends up and down the river will be wishing him well.

Seeing as I wasn't around yesterday to post, a New Orleans harbor salute and a MINNE calliope version of "Happy (Belated) Birthday" to you, Judy! You and I have had many good times together already in the couple of years that we've really know each other, and I hope there are many more on the way! Keep up steam, and hopefully we'll bump into each other sometime soon, preferably in New Orleans 😀
