Has anybody received their June Reflector? It has been published and the editor received his advance copies, but I haven't gotten mine via USPS yet.
Just arrived in St. Paul today.
Glad to hear that..
With all the work you three do to get it together in a timely fashion, I hate to see the delivery get delayed.
*RE: June REFLECTOR*
Hi, Judy and Joh:
Working up here on the land in the cool north thinking about the June REFLECTOR. I probably won't see it for a time until the French fur traders portage the rapids, paddle by to collect furs, pelts and toss to me grub, gun powder, blankets and 'trinkets' with my REFLECTOR in the leather courier pouch. We shall see. David and I worked on the front/back cover photos and they should be real beauties. David asked me to "keep the cover photos a secret." 'Richardson Printing' did forward the printing bill and I've sent the check by return trading canoes.

Covers
I saw the covers of Dave's advance copy, and since he didn't swear me to secrecy, there's a beautiful shot of the ISLAND QUEEN, clear and sharp and of the CITY OF CINCINNATI, and making you want to rip open the magazine to find more!!! I didn't get to see the innards though, but hopefully the UMR rafter will have it here before the saw mills close down...it is great to feel anticipation again for the arrival of the Reflector!
No reflector here as of June 13.
Reflector excess on S&D website
Even though the rest of the website hasn't been updated recently, there are pictures of Helen Prater posted on the S&D Reflector area. Dave had asked Keith to write Helen's obit and there wasn't room in the printed edition for these pictures.
Rafter delivery
The J.W.VANSANT delivered the June issue of the Reflector today here a mile away from Mill St and the lumberyard... this evening is taken care of!
Got mine today too! It's another winner, as usual!
All the passes are open so mine has arrived in a timely fashion as of yesterday.
