Afternoon All,
It's been a little while since this topic was discussed during an interview with a WQSBC high up. In another thread there was considerable legal mumbo jumbo about "steamboat" this and that. In regards to false advertising could the same not be true if AQSBC bought a non-steam powered overnight vessel? Is ACL looking into buying a steamboat so that they can offer "steamboat cruises". Interesting posturing here to say the least but fun to watch. Not too many steamboats out there for sale right now unless Cap'n Walnut is having a going out of business sale. What other rumblings are out there about another AQSBC future purchase? And Dale's right, I'm not touching that other thread with a 10 foot pike pole.

Ask at S&D
The speaker at S&D this year is someone from the Great American, er, American Queen Steamboat Company. There's the chance to get the answer straight from the horse's mouth!

Unfortunately, he cancelled, no real reason given. Capt. Kevin Mullen will be the speaker instead.
