I'm starting a model of the S.S. Thorpe, and have a question regarding the color of her main deck and flooring. As seen in the picture, the main deck and floors were of a darker color for awhile. Does anyone here know what color/colors that might have been?

Main deck bulkhead plates were black, decks probably deep red

Thanks, Bill. That's valuable information! One more question. In this picture, it appears that the paddlewheel arms are white. Were they once painted white, or did they just not paint them at all?
